Skincare at 40 can be simple, natural, and zero-waste. Thankfully, I found hope at 40, after being forced to find my own skincare routine. I am half Canadian and Cuban with fair skin and olive tones. Zero Waste
Three years ago, we embarked on our Zero Waste journey, inspired by Bea Johnson's book. It took us a full year to change our habits, to find replacements for disposable items, and to buy bulk products using our own containers. We are ~95% there! We use truck loads of mulch delivered by local tree companies! We cover the paths in the farm with burlap sacks from a local coffee roaster. We make our own compost from all yard waste.
